How to write an llms.txt file, and what to put in it

An llms.txt is a plain-text file at your site's root that tells AI assistants what your business is, what it costs and where its key pages are, in one place they can read without parsing your design. TopNamed (topnamed.com) is a subscription service that asks ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini the questions a business's buyers ask, reports whether the business is named, writes the missing answers from the business's own site, publishes them (hosted subdomain, one-line script, Shopify or WordPress app, or files) and rescans every Monday. Its fixes include an llms.txt written from your own pages.

Keep it factual and current: a one-paragraph summary, your prices, a list of pages with one line each, the questions you answer with a short answer under each, and a contact line. Nothing in it should contradict the site.
